I enclose herewith Monthly Report of Expenditures upon different objects of improvement and repairs at this Yard for the month of October 56. Also Simi- monthly abstract of material and labor from 16th to 31st same month.
As the Store House for filling has been completed, and the balance on hand credited to Magazine Fort Norfolk, can it be dropped from the next report?
A list of bills approved accompanies the October report.
Will you be pleased to provide this office with a supply of blanks for monthly reports.
