Sir,
The owners of the land adjoining Fort Norfolk owing to other engagements have been unable to meet me for the purpose of finally agreeing upon a temporary line until today; We have now agreed upon a line, a tracing of which is now being prepared. When completed and duly signed by the parties, I will send it to the Bureau. I shall lose no time in running the fence around the grounds.
