Sir:
The Enclosed Letter I have Just received from the British Consul, informing me of the arrival of the Ship of War, the Doedalas; which vessel came into this Harbour last evening, and has her sails unbent and appears to be repairing her rigging.
I have not as yet seen her Commander, but every Step shall be taken to prevent any confusion from the mixture of English with French Seamen.
I have the honor to be veiy Respectfully, Sir,

I have the Honor to inform you of the arrival of His Majesty's Ship Novem. 28th Doedalus, commanded by Sir Charles Heniy Knowles. Bart., in order to have a supply of provisions and some little repairs.
