Paul Huber was a well-known journalist and newspaper editor in Norfolk. Huber came to Norfolk in 1907 and joined the staff of the Ledger-Dispatch. Within a few years he became the general manager and later became president. In 1931 following the merger of the Virginian Pilot and the Ledger-Dispatch, he became president of the Norfolk Newspapers, Inc. He was also involved in local civic and religious matters.
