Signing Monument Contract
Norfolk, VA August 12th 1898
A meeting of the Executive Committee of the Monument Committee was held this day.
Present
W. H. Taylor chairman
B. D. Loyall, Rev. B. D. Tucker, T. R. Borland, & Washington Taylor.
The meeting was called to order by the chairman and Col. Washington Taylor requested to act as secretary.
The contract submitted by the Couper Marble works to erect the monument was read, corrected, and approved and the chairman was directed to sign the same on behalf of our camp and the said with the design and specifications with our records.
On motion adjourned
