A Museum of Local Heros

The Norfolk Police and Fire Museum contains artifacts that span the history of the police and fire departments of Norfolk. In side this museum you will find police weapons dating back to the War of 1812. Fire equipment dating back to the beginning of the fire department. Even the story of the members of the Norfolk United Fire Company served on the CSS Virginia during the Battle of the Ironclads.
